Overview
CrowdReply is a generative engine optimisation (GEO) platform that measures how a brand appears inside AI-generated answers. It tracks named prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Grok, monitors Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, reports share of voice against competitors, and identifies the pages and threads those answers cite. A social listening side watches conversations on Reddit, Quora and Facebook. Every subscription also carries engagement credits, and those credits pay for posts about the brand published through community accounts that CrowdReply operates on those platforms. The tracking and the paid posting are sold together but billed separately: credits are topped up on their own and are non-refundable once bought.

FAQ
What does CrowdReply do?
Two things. It tracks how often and how favourably your brand is named in AI answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Grok, and in Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, with competitor share of voice and an analysis of which sources those answers cite. Separately, it sells engagement credits that pay for posts about your brand on Reddit, Quora and Facebook, published through community accounts that CrowdReply runs.
How much does CrowdReply cost? Is there a free plan?
There is no free plan, but there is a seven-day free trial. Per month: Starter is US$79 for one tracked brand, 20 prompts and 20 listening keywords; Growth is US$239 for three brands, 75 prompts and 75 keywords; Enterprise starts at US$399 for ten brands, 200 prompts and 200 keywords. Paying yearly is advertised as 20% cheaper. Each plan also includes an annual allowance of engagement credits.
What are engagement credits, and are they included in the price?
Credits are the currency for the posting service: they pay for comments, replies and threads published on Reddit, Quora and Facebook through CrowdReply's own community accounts. Each plan carries an annual credit allowance, and more can be bought at any time without changing plan. Topped-up credits are non-refundable once purchased, and the terms set out partial refunds only when a placed comment or thread is removed within a stated window.
Is there an API?
Yes. MCP and API access is listed on all three plans, so the visibility data can be pulled into your own dashboards or read by an AI agent. Alerts can also be delivered to Slack and email.
What languages does CrowdReply work in?
The product site and interface are published in English, and the vendor names no other interface language. It also does not state which languages its prompt tracking or social listening cover, so non-English monitoring is best confirmed with CrowdReply before subscribing.
What should I check before using the posting service?
CrowdReply's terms require the customer to comply with the content policies of every platform it posts on, including Reddit, Quora and Facebook, and prohibit spam, manipulation and deceptive practices. Those platforms also require that a material connection to a product be disclosed. Many countries additionally regulate undisclosed advertising — in Japan, the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations has covered it since 1 October 2023 — so confirm how placements will be disclosed before you run them.
